I wanted to share the conference volunteering opportunity below, specifically for archives students in Sydney – it provides free registration to the ASA conference this year, some conference experience, as well as a great chance to network with professionals in the field.

Subject: ASA Conference - Sydney, 10-13 November

Hi Gaby, Jo, and Simon,
ASA’s annual conference will be held at the Sydney Masonic Centre on 10-13 November. We are looking for six student volunteers that will all work on the opening night and three on each day of the conference. Students who volunteer for the 1.5 days are given free registration for the conference.  Attached is an information sheet.  All students who will need to have an Expression of Interest (EOI) of 300 words why they want to volunteer.  Please send it to Diane Velasquez at dvelasquez at archivists.org.au<mailto:dvelasquez at archivists.org.au>. The deadline is Friday, 31 October.
