Murdoch University is currently recruiting for a librarian and library officer for two fixed term positions to cover for extended leave from 29 January to 2 August 2024. Position descriptions attached.


Librarian, Learning and Teaching

Conditions: Fixed term, part-time position (18.75 hours per week),
Level: H0506: $72,291 - $88,372 (pro-rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions

Librarians working within the Learning and Teaching team are responsible for delivery of high quality digital and information literacy programs and individual student support at Murdoch University.
This role works in collaboration with various stakeholders to develop, deliver and evaluate interactive and engaging resources for staff and students as well as contributing to internal library projects. The role is based at the South Street Campus.

Library Officer, Client Engagement - Mandurah Campus


Conditions: Fixed term, part-time position (22.5 hours per week),
Level: H0304: $57,942 - $72,116 (pro-rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions


We are looking for a Library Officer for our Mandurah Campus.

Duties include client support for library services including dealing with face to face and online enquiries. Ensuring the library space is well maintained and meets the client needs, including the organisation and maintenance of print collection and high demand collection.  Collaboration with other services in the University to provide an excellent student experience at the Mandurah campus and promote activities in the library space.
