We are looking for a Data Entry Officer (WAAHEC)



Location: Highgate
Employment Type: Full-time
Employment Category: 3 month contract with the possibility of extension
Remuneration: $57,713.05 - $66,947.14 per annum pro rata + superannuation + salary sacrifice

The Data Entry Officer (WAAHEC) will report to the Human Research Ethics Officer and is directly accountable to the Executive Manager – Business Development, providing effective and efficient administrative and data entry support to the Western Australian Aboriginal Health Ethics Committee (WAAHEC).

To be considered for this position, they must have:

  *   Data entry and management skills including the ability to undertake data mining, cleansing and validating of data, reviewing all anomalies.
  *   Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks with a high level of accuracy.
  *   Ability to work in a project environment, achieve project deliverables and meet timeframes.
  *   Sound communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate with a wide range of people including Aboriginal peoples, professional researchers, IT professionals and other external stakeholders.
  *   Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work with a complex set of tasks; to plan and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines; and work independently, efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
  *   Well-developed conceptual and problem solving skills.
  *   Advanced keyboard skills and demonstrated competence in the use of business technology and desktop applications including all Microsoft Office systems especially Excel, and database packages.
  *   A commitment to quality service and the ability to maintain client and organisational confidentiality.
