Dear Gaby,

In spring 2021 IFLA Section on Education and Training initiated "A Webinar Series for LIS Students" aimed at creating a place for students to share their projects, research, and ideas about different topics related to libraries. In April-June we held three wonderful webinars with 14 students as presenters from 8 countries.

In October we open the second season. We are happy to announce that on October 22, 2021 at 16.00-17.30 CEST we will have a webinar on "International Engagement and Collaboration – Getting Started".

Keynote speaker:
· Hella Klauser (International Cooperation, German Library Association, IFLA Management of Library Associations Section) - “Working Internationally: Who? Why? How? – ME?”
Presenters:
· Ngozi Perpetua Osuchukwu (Nigeria) - "Taking a Chance on LIS International Engagement"
· Tamara Glushetckaia (France) - "The Power of Study Trips"
· Martin Julius V. Perez (Philippines ) - "International Early Career Development: Experience from and Impact of the Jay Jordan IFLA / OCLC Early Career Development Fellowship"
