Good Afternoon Everyone,

Information Enterprises Australia, on behalf of our client, is seeking applications for the Full Time position of Data Entry Officer for a 3 month contract with the possibility of extension. The position offers an attractive remuneration package with flexible work arrangements.

Our client is located in Highgate and the position involves working within a multicultural organisation where the majority of employees, clients and stakeholders identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. Candidates must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

To be considered for this position, candidates must be able to demonstrate that they have:

  *   Data entry and management skills including the ability to undertake data mining, cleansing and validating of data, reviewing all anomalies.
  *   Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks with a high level of accuracy.
  *   Ability to work in a project environment, achieve project deliverables and meet timeframes.
  *   Sound communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate with a wide range of people including Aboriginal peoples, professional researchers, IT professionals and other external stakeholders.
  *   Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work with a complex set of tasks; to plan and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines; and work independently, efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
  *   Well-developed conceptual and problem solving skills.
  *   Advanced keyboard skills and demonstrated competence in the use of business technology and desktop applications including all Microsoft Office systems especially Excel, and database packages.
  *   A commitment to quality service and the ability to maintain client and organisational confidentiality.

In addition to the above skills and experience, the successful candidate will be required to:

*       Submit a National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months) prior to appointment.

*       Be legally entitled to work in Australia and will be required to provide evidence of this entitlement, such as an Australian or New Zealand passport, birth certificate, or foreign passport with a relevant working visa.

*       Have had at least their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by 1 November 2021, and must be fully vaccinated (including any booster shots if required) by 1 December 2021. Candidates will be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to appointment. This includes either an immunisation history statement or a COVID-19 digital certificate.
