Subject: ALIA New Graduates - Resume Review Service

Dear Dr Joseph ,

I am writing to you on behalf of the ALIA New Graduates Group. I currently coordinate the New Graduates Resume Review Service. We're hoping to get the word out about this service to current students and recent graduates.

Students or new graduates (who are also ALIA members), can send a copy of their resume to alianewgraduatesgroup at gmail.com<mailto:alianewgraduatesgroup at gmail.com> . We will match them up with a reviewer who has experience in their area of interest, and they will receive written feedback on their resume within two weeks.

It's very hard to get that first LIS job, and we know that many students and new graduates find it difficult to communicate their skills through their resume. We believe this service can help with that process.

We're hoping you could promote this service to your students - perhaps via an email, or social media channels? The service is free of charge to ALIA members (including student members). Please let me know if that would be possible.
