Dear all,

There is a part-time archives job available at the University of Western Australia. I have been given the following information:


The position is for one day a week and the pay rate is quite respectable so it might be ideal for a student.

The position would  ideally suit someone who has completed the units - Archives Concepts and Practice ...  and Recordkeeping Concepts and Practice or who has a little practical experience in the field.
There will be a small amount of guidance available initially, but the position will require someone who will be confident to make professional decisions for themselves.  There will be an opportunity to undertake a variety of projects relating to all aspects of care of the collection, which dates back 100 years.
