The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons is a member based not for

Overview
The Records Officer assists with the monitoring, maintenance and
administration of the College=92s Records Management system and facilitates
the processing and transfer of business records.  The incumbent will also
manage the transfer of paper based records to the offsite store and when
required, perform tasks associated with the historic archive.
This position is part-time (0.8 FTE) however, full-time employment is an
option for incumbents suitably experienced and interested In curatorial
duties. The incumbent would work 4 days per week in Records and Archives,
and 1 day per week in the College Museum.


Primary Objective
The primary objective of the Records Officer is to assist with the
monitoring, maintenance and administration of the College=92s Records
Management system.

The key areas of responsibility are:

=95       Assist with monitoring, maintenance and administration of the
College=92s
Records Management system
=95       Enable transfer of paper based records to off-site store
=95       Indexing and data entry as required
=95       Assisting staff with records and archive queries
=95       Compliance with ISO requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, experience
and skills:

=95       A tertiary qualification in Information management or equivalent
industry experience
=95       Knowledge of Sharepoint 2010
=95       Demonstrated experience in Records Management and Archives
=95       Broad understanding of Electronic Document Records Management
Systems
