Subject: [WAIN] Local studies cataloguing work at Armadale's Birtwistle Local Studies Library

Dear Local History Librarians / cataloguers,

I'm looking to find a person with the necessary experience and interest to do some cataloguing of the Birtwistle Local Studies Library collection in Armadale.
The library is located within the Armadale Central Shopping Centre and a 10 minute walk from the Armadale train station.

Two private archive collections have come into the library and so added to the items pending cataloguing.
Items include letters, photographs, documents, diaries and some ephemera.

This would initially be a short term contract of about 20 hours, with a possibility of an extension.
Hours Monday to Thursday, with a possibility of some Fridays, are negotiable.

The hourly rates of pay are commensurate with the local government awards.
