Expression of Interest - New Zealand Library Study Tour

Are you interested in attending a library study tour to New Zealand, in 2013?

Following on from the successful 2010 study tour to Singapore, planning has now commenced towards a library study tour to New Zealand in 2013.

It is anticipated that this tour could occur around the time of the LIANZA conference, scheduled to be held from 19 - 23 October 2013 in Hamilton.  Costs will be kept to a minimum and will be dependent on final arrangements.

The study tour will be organised by State Library together with Public Library representatives.  A program will be developed encompassing a range of visits to a cross section of public libraries together with other libraries of interest.  Potentially, the Study Tour may make visits to libraries in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland however this level of planning has not been finalised.

If you are interested in attending a study tour to New Zealand, please email Janet Deegan janet.deegan at slwa.wa.gov.au<mailto:janet.deegan at slwa.wa.gov.au> to register your interest.  Include any comments regarding potential libraries to visit or specific areas of interest.  A response by Monday 5 November would be appreciated.
