Dear library staff - please let your children's librarians know about this National Year of Reading exhibition and competition in WA.


Are We There Yet?
Is a fun competition for under 12s. It's based on award winning author and illustrator Alison Lester's book Are We There Yet?, which tells the story of her family's journey around Australia in a camper van. We want kids around Australia to tell us about their home town or a special place they've visited in Australia. Just get them to send us a short story or a letter or a drawing of their favourite place and they could win a fabulous prize. This competition is moving around the country on a month by month basis, and won't be in Western Australia for much longer.
