Dear students

 

Have you thought about applying for Honours?

 

Once you have completed your undergraduate degree, and have a course
average of 65 or better, you are eligible to apply for entry into the
MCCA Honours course.    

 

Why do Honours? Honours opens up a range of opportunities. It is the
quickest and most recognised pathway to Higher Degree by Research study
(Masters and PhD). It gives you a real advantage in application for
graduate positions in government, business, the arts, and the media and
information professions. Most importantly, it is a chance to advance
your research and analytical skills as you develop a creative project or
investigate a topic that has captured your interest. 

 

The BA in Media, Culture and Creative Arts (Honours) is a 1-year course
that comprises 100 credits of coursework and 100 credits thesis. The
course may also be studied part-time, over two years. Fees are as for
undergraduate study.

Antonio Traverso (Deputy Honours Coordinator) will be presenting an
Honours information session at 2:00pm on Monday 3 October, in the
