our next two events on the Information Studies 40th Anniversary
Calendar:

 

EVENT:  40TH Anniversary breakfast + Seminar on Library Education for
the 21st Century

 

The BREAKFAST:

DATE:  Friday 21 October 2011

Time : 7.30 a.m. sharp

VENUE: Scholars Restaurant, Curtin University - see map:

PARKING: Free in student (Green) bays as it is study week

COST: order a la carte

Attraction:  a panel of speakers who were early students at what was
then WAIT -  Ian Stone, Judi Willmott, Vicki Tkacz and Roy Stall - will
get the morning going by sharing their informal thoughts and memories of
what it was like when they studied at WAIT/Curtin. And you may have some
thoughts to share too.

information professionals from employer and student perspectives, based
around the ALTC report, Re-conceptualising and Re-positioning Australian
Library and Information Science Education for the 21st Century. Speakers
include Chris Richardson, Paul Genoni, Barbara Combes, Constance
Wiebrands, Lorraine Bradshaw, Molly Tebo and Megan Raison.
