Expressions of interest are being sought for an APS 5 Knowledge Information Coordinator in the Knowledge, Library, Information and Media section (KLIM) in the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS). The position is for an initial period of 6 months with possible extension and will be located in the ABS central office in Canberra. The position is available immediately.

Qualifications in Library/Information Management would be an advantage.

About the Job

Duties may include some of the following:

*	provision of reference/research services to ABS staff nationally 
*	support of organisational knowledge management practices to the desktop 
*	core library duties & administrative support 
*	development and delivery of training. 


What qualities and skills are we after?

The person we are looking for will be highly motivated, enjoy challenges and possess the following attributes: 

*	previous experience in libraries and/or information management 
*	strong communication skills (good presentation skills would also be beneficial) 
*	good client service and liaison skills and the ability to build productive relationships and networks with ABS workgroups 
*	effective time and task management 
*	planning, organisation and coordination skills 
*	demonstrated initiative, drive and innovation skills
