We currently have a vacancy in the Wellington City Council Records Team for
a Training and Assurance Co-ordinator, with focus on providing support for
the Council-wide Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS).
As part of the Records Team, you will be responsible for:
* Training in regard to maintenance of online learning tools.
* Training needs analysis and identification of requirements.
* Reporting in regard to training and audit KPIs.
* Information Management inductions.
* Outreach to Council business units.
* Customer focused advice, training and support in recordkeeping and
record management.
* A training programme for document and records management within
Wellington City Council.
* A programme of on-going work to ensure compliance with relevant
legislative requirements and standards (for example the Public Records Act,
Building Act etcetera).
To be the successful candidate you will have:
* Information management experience and/or relevant qualifications.
* A background in training would be highly desirable.
* An affinity to working with people.
* Effective time management and organisational skills.
* Well developed oral and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated computer experience, including use of database systems.
* Experience in customer service environment.
* Relevant experience or demonstrated knowledge of the Local
Government environment would be desirable.
* Experience with indexing and classification systems.
