Curtin University Library has two fixed-term contracts available for two
diverse roles: 

Institutional Repository 

In this position the Library Technician will undertake the following
tasks: 

*	Verifying academic citations using a range of bibliographic
databases and internet resources.
*	Editing citations and metadata in an open source software
package.
*	Entering processing details into an Excel spreadsheet in
accordance with business rules provided.


	Knowledge of academic referencing is required, and a knowledge
of, and interest in, Institutional Repositories and open access in a
scholarly environment is desirable.

The fixed term contract for this position will be effective from 1 July
2008 to 24 December 2008.

Flexible Delivery & Lending Services 

The main focus of this position will be undertaking the following tasks:


*	Supervise the Loans Desk as part of a team of Library
Technicians
*	Manage signage in the Robertson Library 
*	Support the Floor Technician team.  


The fixed term contract for this position will be effective from 30 June
2008 to 17 July 2009 (parental leave).
