Lovely to hear from you. Greetings from the West. I hope you are well and not tooooooooooo busy.

We actually have quite a few students in QLD so would be very willing to inform students of the opportunity. When you are ready just send me a word doc to circulate to students.

I don't know of any established systems or schemes already in place. It sounds like a great idea.  You may even be able to employ students part-time while they study and then full-time when they finish. Lots of options I guess.

Hi Marg,

How are things with you?  All good I hope.

The purpose of my email is to run past you an idea that arose from our company planning day in January about more productive ways to recruit
new consultants to our business.   Our thinking is to look at placing RM
graduates or those close to graduating into junior consulting positions with IBIS and mentoring them into more senior consulting roles.  With the current dearth of suitably qualified and experienced applicants for positions, we think this would be a good way of not only filling the gaps we have staff-wise, but also providing assistance to inexperienced graduates and adding to the available pool.

Are you aware of any Government, or other, schemes that assist businesses in this regard?  If there are none, that's OK as we are happy to do it without financial assistance.  Do you think there would be any interest from any of your students, or former students, in a move to Brisbane to take up such a role?  If not, are you able to give me contact details of your counterparts in other universities where there may be interested students or graduates?
