Curtin University Library is seeking expressions of interest in a Trainee Librarian position.

 

We can offer you:

*	Paid employment (current casual rate of $26.75 per hour) during semester two, 2007

 

*	Guidance and professional development from experienced librarians

 

*	Experience to add to your resume

 

*	An opportunity to work in a busy academic library

 

We are looking for someone who can meet the following selection criteria:

*	Librarianship students (postgraduate or undergraduate) who expect to complete their course at the end of 2007

 

*	Able to work approximately ten hours per week (two to three half days a week)

 

*	A high level of academic achievement

 

*	Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

 

*	Ability to work as part of a team

 

*	Knowledge of a broad range of information sources, particularly electronic sources
