Subject: [WAIN] Students & recent graduates - Library Technician course

Hi everyone,

The ALIA WA Library Technicians' group is again offering students &
recent (two years) graduates of a Library Technician qualification
course, to experience the value of attending a National Library
Technician conference.

A $1000 grant is awarded to the winner and is open to members and
non-members of ALIA.  The winner also receives 12 months ALIA membership
and a certificate. Applicants must be a resident of WA.

Applications for this grant are judged on an essay entry and subsequent
interview by a judging panel.

Essay topic: What goals have you set for yourself as a practising
Library Technician and how do you see Library Technician membership of
ALIA assisting you towards achieving these goals?

Submssion deadline : March 30, 2007
