The City of Joondalup is strategically positioning itself to become a

Joondalup and its community.

Student Librarian
Part-time (17 hours per week) - 12 month contract
($19.94 - $21.29 per hour plus relevant loadings)

Motivated and enthusiastic people who are currently studying to complete
their qualifications in librarianship are encouraged to apply for an
excellent opportunity in the Reference and Local Studies area of the
Joondalup Library which offers public and staff access to the Internet,
on-line databases, CD-ROM network facilities, local history resources,
monographs, serials and international newspapers. This position requires
alternate weekends and one evening per week and will present an
opportunity to broaden your knowledge and experience in a working
environment.

To be successful you must have a strong commitment to customer service,
an enquiring mind for problem solving, knowledge of reference resources
and services, demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, sound
written and verbal communication skills, good time management and
effective library research skills in an on-line environment.

Salary: Level 3 $39,406 - $42,085 (pro rata), Reference Number: 07-20
