[Commpsych] Invitation to participate in experiential research on creative approaches to reflective practice - 5 x Wednesday evenings in Fitzroy, June-July.

Dear friends and psychologist colleagues

I'm circulating the attached invitation on behalf of Bernadette Healy, whom some of you may know from her time at Vic Uni teaching counselling skills, or from her many years of community-based practice.

The commitment involved is 4 sessions at 2.5 hours each in small group (6 psychologists) in June-July, plus an information session on Wed 7 June.

Bernadette is seeking participants for an experiential arts-based research enquiry which will explore the use of creative arts practices as a method of reflecting on professional practice. The commitment involved is 4 sessions at 2.5 hours each in small group (6 psychologists) in June-July, plus an information session on Wed 7 June. The researcher, Bernadette Healy, will facilitate this process within a small group context. This study is being conducted through the MIECAT Professional Doctorate program.  It's likely that participation could be counted as professional development / peer group /reflective practice.
