POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMS - MID-YEAR ENTRY


 

 

Don't wait for 2009. The School of Psychology is now accepting
applications for its postgraduate program: 





*               Master of Applied Psychology (Community)

 

Community psychology recognises that the wellbeing of individuals cannot
be understood in isolation from broader social contexts.  Students learn
to work in partnership with groups and organisations to promote wellness
and prevent or reduce problems. Students receive a solid grounding in
generalist psychological skills, as well as advanced theory, research
and practice experience in community psychology.

 

This course normally has an intake every second year, but this year for
the first time we are offering a limited number of part-time places at
mid-year. The program is especially suited to applicants working in
community agencies who are seeking to upgrade their qualifications to be
eligible for registration as a psychologist, and for full membership of
the Australian Psychological Society.

 

Note that applicants must meet the entry requirement of having
successfully completed an APS accredited four-year sequence in
Psychology.
