Hello LARIS graduates in Western Australia

The 2025 FA Sharr Award is now open for nominations and if you are a recent graduate (since 2022) who is making a difference in your work, then I encourage you to apply!

The Award recognises early-career library professionals in Western Australia who show strong potential to contribute to the profession. Named after former State Librarian Francis Aubie (Ali) Sharr, it is awarded by the ALIAWest Group. The winner receives professional recognition, a $500 professional development bursary, and ALIA membership or conference support. See the attachment and visit https://alia.org.au/Web/Web/Our-Members/Award-pages/F_A_Sharr_Award.aspx to find out more.

Best wishes
Gaby

I acknowledge the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation on whose lands Curtin University stands. I pay my respects to all Indigenous custodians of the lands across Australia.
