Hello
Bookings are available for the Wider local studies seminar 10 - 12 June 2025.

The seminar includes staff from Denver Public Library talking about the diversity audit of their special collections (local studies), and Australian library staff talking about how to manage legacy oral history (when there is no paper work), digital preservation, more than ten short talks from local studies staff from across Australia on a wide range of topics and much more.

The draft agenda and links to book are here https://wiki.libraries.nsw.gov.au/doku.php?id=agenda_for_10_11_and_12_june_2025_wider_local_studies note you need to book separately for each day.

The sessions on 10 and 11 June will be recorded and made available for later viewing. The 12 June session is where you come along (online) and talk with your local studies colleagues from across Australia discussing ideas from the previous two days, as well as ideas inspired by the sessions. This will not be recorded.

Note the seminar program is draft and subject to change.

Regards
Ellen for the Wider local studies planning group
