A reminder of the opportunity below.  If you don't already have an ABN, it is simple and quick to set one up.

The State Library is looking for more than one contractor across the next 12 months so please get in touch at any time.  The service period is negotiable, and the start date and hours are flexible.

The work is suitable for qualified library technicians, librarians, cataloguers, and anyone with experience describing library collections (particularly creating succinct summaries and assigning subject headings).

The attached Scope of Work provides further details.

Dear Colleagues

The State Library of WA is seeking a contractor with demonstrated expertise and experience in cataloguing and describing library resources to appropriate standards.  The Library has recently digitised a large portion of its audio-visual heritage collections and now aims to enhance discovery and access through its online catalogue.

Previous experience cataloguing audio-visual formats and/or using Sierra Library Management System is highly desirable.

The attached Scope of Work provides further details.  Please note, you must have an Australian Business Number (ABN).
