About the role
We currently have a new permanent, full-time opportunity available for a Records Management Officer to join our Records Team. In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of efficient and effective metadata quality assurance across our record keeping system and assist to provide records and information management best practice, training and support for the Records and Compliance Team to meet the Corporation's business needs.

About the role


  *   Responds to client enquiries efficiently and/or appropriately refers the enquiry.
  *   Responsible for routine and project end of life processing of inactive physical and electronic information, in line with approved retention & disposal schedules and other legislation for Metro and Regional areas.
  *   Provides quality assurance checks and fixes to document/folder metadata in the Electronic Content Management System ECMS.
  *   Liaise with the business to ensure content is captured in accordance to guidelines and policy with correct naming conventions and retention periods assigned and.
  *   Provides back-up to the Records Management Support Officer, ensuring our customer service needs are met.
  *   Assists in carrying out correct digitisation processes.
  *   Assists with the development and delivery of Records and Information Management training programs to the business, as required.
