About the role

As a Community Learning Programs Coordinator, you will have a unique opportunity to coordinate the planning, development and delivery of library programs and events to foster a culture of learning throughout life - a key tenet of City's Learning City Strategy. With a strong emphasis on community engagement, consultation and building external relationships, you will inspire, educate, and empower our diverse community through delivering exceptional learning initiatives.

Reporting to the Programming and Operations Lead - Community Learning, this is a full-time, temporary role until 19 December 2023 that operates from the City's four libraries<https://www.canning.wa.gov.au/places-and-events/places-to-learn/canning-libraries/locations-opening-hours>.

A snapshot of your new role:
?  Coordinate the development and delivery of a range of lifelong learning programs
?  Undertake research and community consultation to identify community learning needs
?  Manage partnerships and community-led initiatives to build community capacity
?  Measure and evaluate program outcomes
?  Build and strengthen positive relationships with stakeholders

How you will thrive in this role:
?  Tertiary qualification in Librarianship, Community Development, Education or relevant field
?  Knowledge of community engagement and development principles
?  Experience in planning and delivery of community learning programs and events
?  Demonstrated experience in building and fostering positive stakeholder relationships
?  Excellent technology and digital literacy and ability to work in a dynamic team environment
?  Current Working with Children Check
