Hi all

We are seeking someone to act in our Museum Curator role to cover Long Service Leave from 23 January to 30 April 2024.

The main duties for this contract position would be:

  *   Managing the daily activities of the museum (admin, reports, general enquiries, donations, rosters etc)
  *   Updating records, images, and repacking the costume and Manchester collection and sorting it based on the museum's classification system
  *   Organising two to three events for the museum with assistance from the wider Library and Heritage team
The position is full time (76 hours per fortnight), but there is flexibility to work an amewould be a level 6/7 ($81,431-$94,861 pro rata) plus super and annual leave accrual which would be paid out when the contract ends.
This would be a great opportunity for a new professional in the Museum industry to gain valuable experience in a hands-on role.
