Subject: [WAIN] Gosnells Toy Library needs a superstar Toy Librarian

Gosnells Toy Library is seeking candidates for a second Toy Librarian to lead our Thursday afternoon sessions, and provide occasional cover for Monday and Saturday morning sessions when required. This position is a 6 month fixed term contract, with future opportunity for permanent part time hours.

The ideal candidate should:

  *   Be confident in supervising and leading a small group of volunteers
  *   Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  *   Enjoy working as part of a team
  *   Possess good organisational and problem solving skills
  *   Be able to create a warm and welcoming environment for families from diverse backgrounds
  *   Hold good computer literacy skills and be willing to learn how to use our online database
  *   Value the importance of learning through play in early childhood (and beyond!)
