The City of Bayswater is seeking to fill a part time Library Officer vacancy.



About the Position:

The primary role of our Library Officers is to engage in tasks that support the provision of a welcoming, inclusive and highly accessible Library Service.  To be successful in this position, you will have well-developed public relation and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to effectively operate a range of corporate systems and applications.  Good availability over library opening hours is preferred, these range from:

Mondays to Thursdays, 8.00am – 7.00pm

Friday 8.00am – 6.00pm

Saturday 8.45am – 12.00pm



The position is permanent part-time, 38 hours per fortnight and is currently based at the Bayswater Library.



This positon offers a 4 salary of $70,053.72 (per annum) pro rata, inclusive of 10% library employee loading, as well as access to City of Bayswater staff benefits including

·         Free aquatic and gym membership

·         Generous superannuation contributions of up to 19.5%

·         Training and development opportunities.

·         Employee health and wellbeing program.
