Please be aware that there is another employment opportunity at City of Canning for a Learning Hub Officer to join us on a permanent, part time basis to work across our Bentley, Cannington, Riverton and Willetton libraries.

Impact the Community in a Big Way!

The role will report to the Team Leader and be responsible for building effective relationships and delivering an outstanding level of customer service to the Canning community. The successful applicant will effectively support the provision of library services as well as complete administration work room tasks for the ongoing delivery of library services to the community.

*             38 hours per fortnight
*             $62,495 - $72,202 per annum pro rata + 10.5% super

Applicants will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a customer focussed role, ideally within a library or learning environment, combined with a current Working with Children Check and current satisfactory National Police Clearance. The right applicant will have the desire to be a collaborative team member with the ability to positively contribute to the achievement of team goals, as well as maintain positive workplace relationships with customers and other stakeholders. They will have the ability to prioritise their work, have strong digital literacy skills with a focus on library specific technologies, and have an excellent work ethic.
