Dear Students and Alumni,
FYI and register for the bi-annual state heritage conference by today, so that you don’t miss out on the early bird registration offer.
This is a GLAM sector state conference, with presentations linking to archives like Dr. Mark Brogan and my paper titled ‘Ministry of Truth? Digital disruption and the memory of government in WA’<https://az659834.vo.msecnd.net/eventsairaueprod/production-meetingmasters-public/e2e6dfd687834d41b948a99d24775437>. Additionally, I am leading a workshop titled ‘Collecting with care: Managing collections, ethics and donor relationships’.<https://meetingmasters.eventsair.com/QuickEventWebsitePortal/washhc2019/washhc/Agenda/AgendaItemDetail?id=c1d48b1c-7602-4268-aefa-3b048da72f86>
It will be an opportunity to network with our allied professionals.
Note the bursary support<https://meetingmasters.eventsair.com/QuickEventWebsitePortal/washhc2019/washhc/ExtraContent/ContentPage?page=3> for regional and remote organisations and individuals. Applications for bursary support is low, hence I encourage you to take advantage of this application if it applies to you or others you may know.
Students note the discounted rates for you to meet your future employers, and get an update about news/issues about our state heritage collections.
Hope to see more of you at this WA Conference.
