[MCASI Practicum Program]

We have a short term Librarian vacancy coming up from 18th February until 29th March, 6 weeks in total to fill in while we recruit to a vacant post. We are looking for someone for 22.5 hours a week to cover. The duties are as a Subject Librarian at Level 5/6 casual rate of $42.35 per hour. I have attached a position description. We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive recent or new graduate who can work well in a team, rather than looking for specific experience. They will be dealing with enquiries from clients and liaising with staff from some of our arts disciplines, undertaking some collection development and helping to create digital literacy self-help material. This is a good opportunity to add some experience to the CV and try out working in the academic library environment. Full training will be given.
