Records Management - Museum Physical Archive Consolidation
This is a great opportunity for an information studies student to gain practical archiving experience. Working under guidance from the Records Systems & Administration Coordinator, the intern will work with older inactive physical records in the museum collection to assess, appraise, classify & register them into the electronic records management database (Content Manager). The intern will work primarily with hard copy files and will gain experience of applying the SLM Business Classification Scheme to title records and enter into the records database. The student will work within established frameworks to ensure compliance with the State Records Act.
