Record Systems Support Officer

  *   $75,974 pa plus Superannuation
  *   Permanent Full Time Position
  *   Option to work under a 19 day month arrangement
  *   Sydney CBD location

The City of Sydney, one of Australia’s premier Councils, has an opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic helpdesk or records management systems support practitioner to become part of our Information Services Unit in the Information Management team.

In this position you will provide professional support service and create an exceptional customer experience in a high volume, time-sensitive environment based on an understanding of the records management system and the City’s functions and activities.

You will be responsible for:

  *   Providing sound support of HPE Records Manager (HPRM/TRIM) to users through the application of high quality customer service.
  *   Responding to phone and email enquiries and service requests from users of HPRM in a timely and efficient manner and within agreed service levels.
  *   Developing and maintain user guides and system documentation in consultation with the Information Management Team.
  *   Assisting the Information Management Team in training of staff and contribute ideas for messaging, training and guidance to help users become more proficient with HPRM.
  *   Providing assistance for upgrades of HPRM.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  *   experience in an IT helpdesk or records management system support environment; experience in HPE Records Manager/HP TRIM is highly desirable
  *   strong interpersonal and negotiation skills combined with effective communication to provide accurate information and resolve issues
  *   excellent customer service skills proven in an information management or information technology setting
  *   the capacity to communicate clearly and effectively and to write appropriate and accurate documentation.
