Hello all,

The State Library is currently recruiting for a Librarian in our Liaison, Acquisition & Description team.  There is an initial vacancy at 0.8FTE until the end of June, with the possibility of extension or permanency, but we will also be establishing a recruitment pool from which other appointments may be made as opportunities arise.  The initial contract will be focused on original cataloguing of Western Australian published and archival materials, but future appointments made from the pool may be involved in a variety of acquisitions, collection management and collection access functions across the full range of SLWA's physical and digital collections - Western Australian documentary and cultural heritage, general reference collections, and collections procured and managed in partnership with the state-wide public library network.
