Hi Everyone,

The Department of Fisheries is recruiting for an Indexing Officer<https://search.jobs.wa.gov.au/page.php?pageID=160&windowUID=0&AdvertID=197334>. The role is at Level 2 ($59,172 - $64,256) for a fixed term of 12 months, full time and based in the Perth CBD.

Please note: It is anticipated interviews will be conducted on Friday 9 December and/or Monday 12 December 2016. Shortlisted applicants must be available for an interview on these dates.

CLOSING DATE:  Tuesday 6 December 2016 at 12.00 pm WST

The role of the Indexing Officer is to index, classify and monitor Departmental correspondence, assisting in the delivery of customer service, conducting training, awareness raising and providing advice to internal staff, and assisting in day to day operations of the records management system.

The Department of Fisheries manages Western Australia’s fish, marine and the freshwater fisheries and the habitats on which they depend. We aspire to be recognised and respected by the WA community for our leadership in fisheries and aquatic resource management. The Department’s purpose is to deliver sustainable management and development of the State’s fisheries and aquatic resources by being responsive, resilient and results-focused.
