[Hum-DIS] City of Stirling (WA) - library job opportunities

Dear students

As many of you know I am busily placing students for pracs. In doing so it has been brought to my attention that it will be worthwhile checking out the City of Stirling job vacancy page over the next few weeks as they are preparing to recruit two library officers, one part time and one full time and one full time librarian.

Please be aware that the application process involves populating an online form and attaching a resume. The online form is a key component of the recruiting process as the City of Stirling will receive anywhere between 200 and 300 applications per library officer role - complete this online form wisely. Customer service is very important in a public library setting. Once the online form makes it through to the next stage, the resume is then opened. Keep the resume succinct, sharp and on point.

Those close to graduating are encouraged to apply for the librarian role.

The online form will also ask applicants if they are interested in casual work if unsuccessful in obtaining one of the roles.
