Hi everyone,

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all who attended and supported the Curtin Info Studies Alumni Committee's quiz night last week. It was very well attended with 9 tables competing for prizes donated from the State Library of WA, Fringe Benefits at Curtin, Mill Point Book Caffe, Vintage Cellars South Perth, Step Into Life (South Perth), and South Perth Libraries. A big thank you also to attendees who themselves donated some wonderful prizes. We raised an amazing $691.30 which has gone towards the Info Studies Scholarship Fund, which supports students earning their first professional qualification in Information Studies.

We hope everyone enjoyed the evening. We hope we'll see you again at next year's quiz night!

Finally, as mentioned on the night, we are currently looking to recruit some new Committee members. Are you Curtin/WAIT Info Studies Alumni, can spare a couple of hours every 6-8 weeks, and are interested in networking and professional development?
