Networking event and panel discussion for library studies students

Please join us in the beautiful Reading Room at Customs House Library for Let’s Talk, the networking event for students of library and information management.

Let's Talk provides opportunities for...

  *   Incidental learning. The benefits of networking for informal and formal learning.
  *   Career development. Emphasising transferable skills as a new graduate.
  *   Getting the most out of your studies as an external student
  *   Meeting some of your teachers and lecturers face to face

Panellists include: Hiba Kanj (ALIA Students and New Graduate Committee Convenor), Alex Cato (Australian Law Librarians Association NSW Division President), Kate Byrne (International Librarians' Network) and Jeffery Cruz (Manager, Cityof Sydney Library)

Meet fellow students face to face and hear from graduates now working in the industry. Enjoy some finger food and wine!

This event is open to students studying towards any library and information qualification through any Australian TAFE or University.
