Hi,

The Honours programme allows students to complete a research or creative project after their undergraduate degree. For the first time it is being offered wholly online next year.

If you are considering doing this next year or later, or have a topic that you think you would like to research, I am happy to talk more about it with you.

The Faculty is running an information session about the Honours programme on Wednesday 15 October. More details below.

Bachelor of Arts (Humanities) (Honours) 2015: Information session for prospective students

WHEN: 12 - 1pm Wednesday 15 October 2014 WHERE: 215:118TR Engineering Pavilion

Humanities Honours is a one-year program designed for students who wish to deepen their understanding and to open significant career options, either as a final degree or as the first stage of entry into a Higher Degree by Research. It is a program that allows for in depth study, thereby developing students' research, analytical and communication skills. Areas of research supported by this interdisciplinary program include (but are not limited to) Anthropology, Art, Creative Writing, Cultural Studies, Design, Film and Television, History, Internet Communications, Information Studies, Journalism, Literary Studies and Performance Studies.

This program supports students in completing either a dissertation or a body of creative production supported by an exegesis. In 2015 the program will be offered externally (online) for the first time.

If you are considering studying Honours, come along to this information session to learn more about the program from academics and current students. Questions are welcome!
