<p>The Honours programme allows students to complete a research or creative project after their undergraduate degree. For the first time it is being offered wholly online next year. </p>
<p>If you are considering doing this next year or later, or have a topic that you think you would like to research, I am happy to talk more about it with you.</p>
<p>The Faculty is running an information session about the Honours programme on Wednesday 15 October. More details below.</p>

<p style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-size: 12.000000pt; font-family: 'Calibri'">Humanities Honours is a one-year program designed for students who wish to deepen their understanding and to open significant career options, either as a final degree or
as the first stage of entry into a Higher Degree by Research. It is a program that allows for in depth study, thereby developing students' research, analytical and communication skills. Areas of research supported by this interdisciplinary program include
(but are not limited to) </span><span style="font-size: 12.000000pt; font-family: 'Calibri'; font-weight: 700">Anthropology, Art, Creative Writing, Cultural Studies, Design, Film and Television, History, Internet Communications, Information Studies, Journalism,
Literary Studies and Performance Studies. </span></p>
<p style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-size: 12.000000pt; font-family: 'Calibri'">This program supports students in completing either a dissertation or a body of creative production supported by an exegesis. In 2015 the program will be offered externally
(online) for the first time. </span></p>
