Ahoy there Curtin Information Studies Alumni
Whether the year was victorious or less than perfect; you must end it with a bang!
Let’s celebrate the end of the year on a SHIP! Yes you heard it right!
The stately vessel Duyfken... and loudly we shout: “Ship ahoy! Ship ahoy!”
Duyfken is a replica of the ship built in 1598 in Holland - and the first European ship to reach Australian shores. She touched the Queensland coast in 1606, over 160 years before Captain Cook made a landing in Botany Bay. Duyfken, which means the little Dove, is now berthed behind Little Creatures Brewery at Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour.
Come join us for guided tour of the Little Dove, given by the Information Studies Alumni’s own Captain Roy Stall, followed by a scrumptious lunch at Little Creatures. Aye, we guarantee a bloody good time!
