There has been promotion about this annual conference but in case you missed it, here it is for your consideration. Note that students can apply for free registration.

Why attend?
Being hosted at the National Convention Centre, Canberra, 8-11 September with the theme Information Governance, inForum 2013 offers many opportunities to increase your industry knowledge, source providers, expand your network and experience personal or professional growth. Presentations and workshops will look at Information Governance as a holistic approach to managing corporate information that treats information as a valuable business asset, making information assets available to those who need it, while streamlining management, reducing storage costs and ensuring compliance.
The diverse and interesting program includes:
* Keynote speakers including John McMillan, Australia's Information Commissioner, leading IT industry analyst Rory Staunton from Strategy Partners, UK and Stephen Ludlow, e-Discovery Guru with OpenText Canada
* Local and New Zealand practitioners sharing their extensive knowledge and experience
* Site visits to the National Film and Sound Archive, National Gallery of Australia, National Library of Australia, National Archives of Australia, Australian War Memorial and National Museum of Australia with each site visit including an exclusive presentation, behind-the-scenes tour and a viewing of their current exhibition
* Six optional workshops focusing on information governance and people skills including a breakfast session on Coaching and Mentoring skills for records management
* Trade exhibition which is 100% relevant to the RIM industry - compare products and ask questions on your terms and at your convenience

Earlybird Closes 30 June
If you are thinking about attending inForum 2013 and want to take advantage of the Earlybird discount you only have until 30 June to submit and pay for your registration. Standard registration closes on 30 August. Please see the inForum website to register online if you wish to pay by credit card or to download a registration form if you wish to be invoiced.
Free Student Registrations
Every year the Association gives away 10 free student registrations to attend inForum on a first in, first serve basis. Students are defined as anyone studying part or full time who is working less than 25 hours per week and proof should be provided with your registration in the form of a letter from your employer and either a current student ID or a letter from your lecturer. The offer is not available to people who have previously taken advantage of the free registration.
