AgResearch is seeking an energetic and forward thinking information professional to lead its Library and Knowledge Services group. Reporting to the Shared Services Director (a member of the executive), you will set the overall direction of Library and Knowledge Services to support AgResearch's research and commercial activities.

Your demonstrated experience effectively leading, managing and motivating staff will go hand in hand with your excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to drive and manage change, motivate, advocate, influence and negotiate.

You will have a relevant information management qualification and extensive experience in library or records management as well as eligibility for registration with relevant professional organisations. A degree in science or experience in a research environment is required.

Leading a high performing Library and Knowledge Services group who deliver effective and well regarded services utilising advanced technologies you will be working in partnership with scientists and adding value to all business activities.
