The QUT *Law Librarianship: Legal Research* course has traditionally been offered as a five-day intensive program at the Gardens Point campus in Brisbane, but *in 2014 it will go online*!

This new iteration of the Law Librarianship: Legal Research course will be offered as an online learning program *from March to May 2014, *facilitated by Dr Gillian Hallam, Adjunct Professor, Science and Technology Faculty, QUT.

The weekly online sessions will be scheduled for the early evening AEST on Mondays as an intensive 8-week program, supported by a comprehensive and dynamic learning environment.

People residing in Brisbane can still attend sessions in person.

In this course, you will be introduced to the Australian legal system and learn about the world of legal research, specifically exploring and evaluating secondary legal research sources, covering Commonwealth and State jurisdictions.

There is a strong focus on helping you to develop strategies to identify the characteristics of legal enquiry, and to locate relevant and authoritative information to meet your clients' needs.

For full information about the course, including costs and registration, see the attached PDF flyer.
