The Town of Victoria Park Library has a vacancy for a part time Library Shelver.



CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER – LIBRARY SHELVER (PART-TIME)

A part-time position currently exists within our Lifelong Learning team. Working an average of 8.25 hours each week (weekday evenings and Saturday afternoons), the Customer Service Officer – Library Shelver will be responsible for sorting and shelving library resources. This successful candidate will also be rostered on at the Customer Service Desk and assist with additional clerical duties as required.

To be successful in this position it is essential that you have exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, the ability to work in a team and have knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. You will also possess an enthusiastic and proactive approach towards your work. Previous experience in a public library is desirable.

Benefits:

 Salary range of $46,130 to $50,244 (pro rata)

 Up to 15.25% Council superannuation contribution
