The following vacancy exists at the City of Kwinana.

Youth Services Librarian
Part Time - Contract to February 2015
12 hours per week
$62,322 - $65,766 per annum (pro rata)
This is a level 5 position. Salary range is dependant on qualifications and experience.

We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and motivated Youth Services Librarian, who is committed to providing top quality, client centered and innovative public library services for children and young people.  The principal responsibility of this position is to develop, prepare, promote and deliver library programmes and services for babies, their carers, children and young people.
This successful candidate will have:

  *   Eligibility for associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association.
  *   Previous working experience in a library environment, working with children and young adults.
  *   Ability to work rostered hours Monday to Saturday, including weekday evenings.
