Position Vacant - I/M Analyst - Library Assistant
A full time contract position is available in the Technical Library at Shell Development (Australia) Pty Ltd. at 2 Victoria Ave, Perth.
Responsibilities include provision of basic reference and information services to users. Clerical duties include library catalogue maintenance, catalogue labeling, shelving, electronic filing (drag/drop), document scanning, downloading from extranets, and archiving. Processing of incoming and outgoing mail packages, receive and distribute journals and newsletters.
The Shell Technical Library manages physical and electronic collections of Oil & Gas exploration geological reports, wells and marine seismic survey data housed on various physical media.
You will be working in a small dynamic team which specializes in the management of subsurface data, software applications and workflows support to the Exploration & Development Geology - Geophysics - Petrophysics professionals within the organization.

Experience in the Oil & Gas industry would be beneficial, but not essential. Starting date is immediate.

The contract is full time with flexible start and finish times for an initial period of 6 months, with a view to extend a further term.
