For immediate release: Tuesday 28th February

International Scholarship recognizes achievements of Kay Poustie AM

Mr Conrad Crisafulli, the Acting Chair of the State Library of Western Australia Foundation, today announced the call for applications for the inaugural Kay Poustie Scholarship.
"This scholarship recognises Kay's immense contribution to the library profession throughout her career and her belief in an international perspective for the profession," said Mr Crisafulli.
This scholarship takes the form of an International Study Grant and will enable a WA-based librarian to travel overseas to learn more about innovative library practices and to bring that knowledge back to Western Australia.
Funds for the scholarship have been provided by generous donations to the Foundation.  To continue the scholarship each year, the Foundation is encouraging further donations to its In Memoriam campaign.
